MX-5 ohhh yess…

The Miata MX-5 takes me back to high school when my dean had a NA then got a NB before I graduated. I’ve always thought it would be fun to have one. Finally bought the right one… for the right price.

1990 NA6 Miata Mx-5  1.6 Liter dohc engine, 5spd, VLSD

20141012_121146 20141012_121206 20141012_121219 20141012_121020 20141011_101545Current mods: RSR catback exhaust, highflow cat, Tokico Blues, lowering springs, Falken Hanabi wheels w/ 205/50/15 Nitto Neogen tires.  Racing Beat Type 2 front bumper, Racing Beat side skirts. VIS racing carbon fiber hood. Turn signal intake vents. Sparco hood pins.

The guy I got it from said it was turbo at one point before he got it. With visual inspections and a found Oil leak from oil return port it shows it indeed was turboed.  The car started up with a jump but required a new battery.  Sounded healthy. Hopefully driving around with that oil return hole open didn’t damage the engine. We will see after I  plug it.
